Thomas Fenner Woods Agency Promotes Three Employees
(Columbus, Ohio) May 24, 2006 – Thomas-Fenner-Woods Agency has announced the promotion of three employees: Robert Wood to Senior Vice President, Yvonne Smith to Vice President of Personal Lines and Gregory Hamrick to Vice President of Property and Casualty.
As Senior Vice President, Wood’s primary responsibilities will include managing the office. He will also manage the commercial lines department and deal with all insurance carriers from a communications and marketing standpoint. Prior to joining Thomas-Fenner-Woods, Wood was employed with Kemper Insurance where he spent 24 years holding various positions in Commercial Lines Underwriting.
Wood holds a bachelor’s degree from Rio Grande University and is a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU).
Smith’s primary responsibilities as Vice President of Personal Lines will include managing the personal lines department as well as serving one-third of the personal lines customers. Smith has worked at Thomas-Fenner-Woods for 34 years.
Smith holds a degree from Columbus Business University and attended The Ohio State University. Smith is an Accredited Customer Service Representative (ACSR).
Hamrick’s primary responsibilities as Vice President of Property and Casualty will include overseeing sales and service.
Hamrick holds a bachelor’s degree from Ohio University and has a Property and Casualty License. He is a board member of the Columbus Cancer Clinic’s Young Professional Group, is a Master Mason and is in the process of becoming the newest member of The Rotary Club of Capital Square (Columbus).
